Where It Began
Cursus-Colbert Run was founded in 2026 by Colbert Jean. It is deeply rooted in the founder's childhood in Haiti, where his gifted horse by his father became a symbol of his identity, discipline and personal journey. The brand's name Cursus, translate to Kous (kouri) in Haitian and Run in English, representing a movement of resilience and progress that persists regardless of obstacles faced. Ultimately, the brand serves as a testament of strength, vision, and consistency required for any individual to pursue their own path forward.
We started with a single silhouette — a road shoe built for daily training — and a single hoodie designed to survive a 6am long run and still look sharp at noon. Both sold out in 72 hours.
Since then, we've grown to serve over 40,000 runners across the world. But the mission hasn't changed: make the gear that makes you want to run more.
What We Stand For
01
Every material, every stitch, every sole is chosen to make you faster, stronger, and more comfortable on the run.
02
We obsess over details most brands ignore — the weight of a zipper pull, the density of a fleece, the flex point of a midsole.
03
Running gear doesn't have to look like an afterthought. We design for the runner who demands both function and beauty.
04
Fast fashion has no place in a serious runner's kit. Our pieces are made to outlast your PRs and keep up with your next goal.
The Details
Every Cursus-Colbert Run product goes through a 12-week development cycle before it ever reaches a runner's hands. We prototype, test, destroy, and rebuild until the product earns its place in the line.
Our shoes are engineered with performance-grade foams and outsole compounds developed alongside competitive athletes. Our apparel uses fabrics sourced from mills that supply the world's top performance brands — then we cut them differently.
